Participants will gain confidence in their negotiation style and learn:
 
  • How to identify and articulate their personal value
  • How to develop an arsenal of persuasive responses and other negotiation strategies
  • How to conduct objective market research to benchmark a target salary and benefits

About the Presenter:
moda-headshot2Lauren Faucette is a Senior Associate Director of Student Preparation at Career Advancement. In her role, she advises students and young alumni on various career preparation topics, including resume and cover letter reviews, interview preparation, internship and job search strategies, and graduate school advising. Lauren also manages career programming and events on student preparation topics. Lauren earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from High Point University, and her Master’s in Higher Education from Northwestern University.
 
nelida-garcia--headshotNelida Garcia is a Senior Assistant Director of Student Preparation at Career Advancement. In her role, she develops career programming and advises students and young alumni on various stages of their career development. Previously, she worked with the Fried Public Policy and Service Program, where she led pre-professional workshops to help fourth year students launch public interest careers. Nelida earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Harvard University.
